Terms of service
The agreement between your family and ours. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
These terms govern the relationship between Progmetics Education FZ-LLC (“Progmetics”, “we”, “us”) and the parent or legal guardian (“you”) enrolling a child in our online tuition programmes. By enrolling, you accept them.
1. What we provide
Live online tuition for students in Grades 3 to 12 following the CBSE or ICSE curriculum, offered as three products: Regular Online Tuitions (five subjects, one each weekday, maximum 6 students per class), Specialised Subjects (any single subject, one-to-one or in a group of up to three) and Homework Assistance (one-to-one or in a group of up to three). Classes run Monday to Friday, between 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM GST, in sessions of 50 minutes. Regular Online Tuitions includes homework, quizzes, a question bank, live assessment, parent–teacher meetings and complimentary Saturday Arabic sessions.
2. Enrolment
Enrolment is opened by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account, the fees and the accuracy of the information supplied. Placement in a batch is subject to availability at the grade, board and time slot requested.
3. Fees and payment
- Fees are payable monthly in advance and are stated on our fees page.
- There is no registration fee, material fee or exit fee.
- Your fee is fixed for the academic year in which you enrol. Any revision applies from the following academic year and is notified at least 60 days in advance.
- Where fees remain unpaid 7 days after the due date, we may suspend access to classes until payment is made. We will contact you before doing so.
4. Attendance and missed classes
Classes not attended are not refunded or carried forward, as the seat is reserved and the teacher engaged. Where a class is cancelled by us, it is rescheduled or credited. We contact you after two consecutive missed classes.
5. Changes you may make
You may change your child's teacher or batch timing at any point, at no charge, subject to availability. You may pause or cancel with 14 days' written notice — see the refund policy.
6. Conduct
Students are expected to attend on time, keep cameras on, participate, and treat teachers and classmates respectfully. Recording, screenshotting or redistributing class content is prohibited. Persistent disruption may result in removal from a batch after discussion with you.
7. Intellectual property
All teaching material, question banks, videos, notes and platform content remain the property of Progmetics and are licensed to you for your child's personal educational use only. They may not be copied, shared, resold or used commercially.
8. Technology
You are responsible for your child's device, internet connection, camera and microphone. We are not liable for classes missed because of a failure of your own equipment or connection. Where a failure is on our side, the class is rescheduled or credited.
9. What we do not promise
We do not guarantee any particular examination result, grade or percentage. Academic outcomes depend on attendance, effort, prior attainment and factors outside our control. We commit to live teaching in classes of six, qualified teachers, honest reporting and prompt communication.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, for conduct that endangers or seriously disrupts other students, or for breach of these terms. Where we terminate without cause, unused prepaid fees are refunded in full.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute. We will always attempt to resolve a complaint directly and in good faith first.
