Built around Sharjah’s school week

Sharjah’s private schools work a four-day week. Since 1 January 2022, the school week has run Monday to Thursday, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. When the change was announced, school principals said they would lengthen the Monday-to-Thursday day to keep teaching hours the same.

Here’s how our timetable sits alongside that:

• Monday to Thursday: your child’s class is in the slot you choose, between 2:00 and 9:00 PM GST.
• Friday: Regular Online Tuitions teaches one subject each weekday, so Friday is a class day for us. In Sharjah it’s also a day with no school, so that class has no school timetable to work around.
• Saturday and Sunday: only the optional add-ons, Arabic Weekends and Orbit, on Saturday, Sunday or both. Your family chooses.

Sharjah’s school calendar for Indian-curriculum schools

The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) regulates private schools in Sharjah. It publishes one calendar for most private schools and a separate one for schools following the Indian and Pakistani curricula, which run an April-to-March year.

For Indian-curriculum schools in 2026–27, SPEA’s calendar lists:

Your child’s school calendar is the final word, so check it for exam weeks and any school-specific days. We follow the calendar your child’s school follows and adjust batches around it.

CBSE and ICSE, Grades 3 to 12, in separate batches

• CBSE, Grades 3–12: Maths, Science (separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology specialists from Grade 9), English, Social Science and Hindi, plus the Science and Commerce streams in Grades 11–12. See CBSE online tuition.
• ICSE and ISC, Grades 3–12: separate batches and separate teachers, with English Papers I and II taught and marked separately. See ICSE online tuition.
• Boards never share a class. Core classes have up to six children; Grades 11 and 12 are taught in smaller specialist batches.

We teach from the textbook your child already owns. Hindi is the standard second language. Other Indian languages, such as Tamil, Malayalam or Kannada, are available as a paid add-on, and your advisor will share pricing.

Fees

• Regular Online Tuitions: all five core subjects, one each weekday, in classes of up to six, at AED 450 a month, excl. 5% VAT.
• Specialised Subjects or Homework Assistance: one-to-one at AED 600 a month, excl. 5% VAT, or a group of three at AED 500 a month, excl. 5% VAT.
