Our teachers

The single variable that decides whether tuition works. We select for it, pay for it, and replace for it without argument.

Selection

How a teacher reaches your child’s screen

Most applicants do not. The filter is deliberately narrow, because a class of six exposes a weak teacher within one lesson.

Qualification screen

Graduate or postgraduate in the subject, with a formal teaching qualification and demonstrable CBSE or ICSE classroom experience.

Subject test

A written paper set at one grade above the level they will teach. Conceptual depth, not recall.

Live teaching trial

They teach a genuine topic to a genuine small group while Tauseef, our Founder and Chief Executive, observes. Explanation quality is judged, not confidence.

Vetting & induction

Identity and background verification, child protection training, and a supervised probation period before they take a batch alone.

Continuity

The same teacher, all year

Children do not rebuild trust every month. Your child keeps their subject teacher for the full academic year unless you ask us to change — and if you do, we change without a conversation about it.

  • One named teacher per subject, per year
  • Specialist Physics, Chemistry and Biology teachers from Grade 9
  • Teacher change on request, at any point, at no cost
  • Every teacher trained in our child protection policy
  • Ongoing observation and feedback throughout the year

Why our teachers stay

Six children instead of forty-five. Paid preparation time. Salaries paid on the first, without exception. A founder who answers the phone himself.

Teacher retention is not an HR metric to us. It is the mechanism by which your child’s progress survives past December.
