CBSE Class 12 online tuition in the UAE
In short: Progmetics teaches CBSE Class 12 live online to students in Dubai and across the UAE, in the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology) and the Commerce stream (Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics), with English through to board standard. Classes are one-to-one or in a group of three children in the same grade and curriculum, and stream bundles start at AED 950 a month in a group of three, excl. 5% VAT. In the Class 12 board year, batches are taken by board-experienced staff only, and we plan Class 11 and 12 together. Watch a free demo class first.
One main board exam, and a supplementary exam for eligible students
Class 12 has one main board examination. The two-exam system CBSE introduced in 2026 is for Class 10 only: CBSE’s circular on the List of Candidates for 2026-27 covers the Class 10 and Class 12 Main Examinations 2027, and sets out a Second Board Examination for Class 10 alone.
Later in the year, CBSE holds a supplementary examination for eligible students. In 2026, CBSE opened the Class 12 supplementary examination to students placed in compartment and to some students who had passed and wanted to improve their performance. It is not a second attempt to plan around, so we plan the year around the main examination.
Your child’s school registers them for the board examination through that List of Candidates, so check the subject names and codes with the school.
What we work on in Class 12
Senior secondary is a different discipline. Fewer subjects, far greater depth, and a direct line to whatever comes after school.
- Board answer structure and presentation, paper by paper.
- Past papers, marking schemes and timed practice. We do not promise a mark. See our CBSE board exam preparation guide.
- Subject specialists: from Grade 9, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are taught by separate specialists, and Maths has its own teachers for Grades 9 to 12. In Class 12, the board year, batches are taken by board-experienced staff only. Meet our teachers.
- English through to board standard.
- One-to-one, or a group of three children in the same grade and curriculum. Subjects taken across streams are taught one-to-one only.
- Built around the board exams. We do not currently offer JEE or NEET preparation.
Subjects
Science stream: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Our Class 12 Physics page covers the 70-mark theory paper, numericals, derivations and the practical exam.
Commerce stream: Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics.
English through to board standard. English is included in the stream bundle when it is one of your child’s school subjects.
Mixing streams: Mixing streams is fine with us, as long as the board allows it, and subjects taken across streams are taught one-to-one. A combination such as Mathematics with Accountancy is allowed by CBSE, and your school decides which combinations it offers. See “Can my child mix Science and Commerce subjects?” below.
Planning Class 11 and 12 together
Grade 12 is not the year to discover a Grade 11 gap. In Physics, for example, much of Class 12 builds on Class 11 mechanics, vectors and calculus.
CBSE sees it the same way. Its Senior Secondary scheme for 2026-27 calls Class 11 and 12 a composite course: students take in Class 11 the subjects they mean to continue, and continue the same subjects in Class 12. The Class 12 Board examination then covers the entire Class 12 syllabus in each subject. So we plan the two years together, not one at a time. The first year is on CBSE Class 11 online tuition. In Physics, we treat both years as one continuous programme; see Class 12 Physics. See what we teach at each stage and our CBSE tuition overview.
Ways to study and fees

Frequently asked questions
Which CBSE Class 12 subjects do you teach?
In the Science stream, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. In the Commerce stream, Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics. English is taught through to board standard.
Is there a second chance after the Class 12 board exam?
Only for eligible students, through CBSE’s supplementary examination later in the year. Class 12 has one main board examination; the two-exam system CBSE introduced in 2026 is for Class 10 only. In 2026, the Class 12 supplementary examination was open to students placed in compartment and to some students who had passed and wanted to improve their performance. It is not a second attempt to plan around.
Is the Class 12 board exam set on the Class 12 syllabus only?
Yes. CBSE’s Senior Secondary scheme for 2026-27 says the Board examination covers the entire Class 12 syllabus in each subject. Class 11 still matters: CBSE treats Class 11 and 12 as a composite course, and students continue the same subjects from Class 11 into Class 12.
Why do you plan Class 11 and 12 together?
Because Grade 12 is not the year to discover a Grade 11 gap. CBSE calls Class 11 and 12 a composite course, with the same subjects continued from Class 11 into Class 12, so we plan the two years together. In Physics, for example, much of Class 12 builds on Class 11 mechanics, vectors and calculus, and we treat both years as one continuous programme.
Are Class 12 subjects taught by specialists?
Yes. From Grade 9, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are taught by separate specialists, and Maths has its own teachers for Grades 9 to 12. In Class 12, the board year, batches are taken by board-experienced staff only.
How do you prepare students for the Class 12 board papers?
With past papers, marking schemes and timed practice. Board answer structure and presentation are worked on paper by paper. We do not promise a mark.
How much does Class 12 tuition cost, and what is included?
The stream bundle covers three subjects, PCM, PCB or Commerce (Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics), with two live 55-minute classes a week in each. It costs AED 950 a month in a group of three or AED 1,250 a month one-to-one, excl. 5% VAT. English is included when it is one of your child’s school subjects. A fourth subject, for example Biology to make PCMB, or Mathematics with Commerce, adds AED 300 a month in a group of three or AED 400 a month one-to-one, excl. 5% VAT. ISC students pay the same prices.
Can my child get help in just one Class 12 subject?
Yes. A single Class 11 or 12 subject has three live 55-minute classes a week, at AED 550 a month in a group of three or AED 650 a month one-to-one, excl. 5% VAT. A group of three is made up of children in the same grade and curriculum. Subjects taken across streams are taught one-to-one only.
Can my child mix Science and Commerce subjects?
Yes. Mixing streams is fine with us, as long as the board allows it. Subjects taken across streams, for example Accountancy alongside Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, are taught one-to-one. CBSE’s scheme of studies for Class 11 and 12 does not group subjects into streams: students choose their electives from one list, so combinations such as Mathematics with Accountancy, or Economics with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, are allowed. A few pairs cannot be taken together, for example Mathematics with Applied Mathematics. ISC works in a similar way, with a short list of combinations that are not permitted. Your school decides which combinations it actually offers, so please check with the school first.
Who registers my child for the Class 12 board exam?
Your child’s school. CBSE asks schools to submit a List of Candidates for the Class 12 main examinations, and only students whose names are submitted through it can sit the 2026-27 board examinations. CBSE also asks schools to brief students and parents on why subject names and codes must be correct, so check them with the school.
