CBSE Class 11 online tuition in the UAE

Why Class 11 matters
Senior secondary is a different discipline. Fewer subjects, far greater depth, and a direct line to whatever comes after school.
CBSE’s Senior Secondary scheme for 2026-27 calls Class 11 and 12 a composite course. Students take in Class 11 only the subjects they intend to continue, and continue the same subjects in Class 12. The Class 12 board examination then covers the Class 12 syllabus, but it builds on Class 11: in Physics, for example, much of Class 12 builds on Class 11 mechanics, vectors and calculus. Grade 12 is not the year to discover a Grade 11 gap.
The Class 11 exam is set by your school
Class 11 is not a board year. CBSE says Class 11 assessment is similar to the Class 12 Board examination but is carried out at school level, and it uses absolute grading on marks:

In Class 12, the board grades positionally instead, by rank among the students who pass. Your child’s school decides the Class 11 test calendar, so send us the school’s dates when you enrol.
Choosing Class 11 subjects
CBSE’s rules for 2026-27:
- At least five subjects. One must be Hindi or English, at Core or Elective level. The others are a second language or electives. A sixth subject is optional.
- Electives come from one list, not fixed streams. Mathematics with Accountancy is allowed. A few pairs are not, including Mathematics with Applied Mathematics, and Business Studies with Business Administration.
- The first five subjects are the main subjects. If a student fails one of them, a sixth subject can replace it, as long as Hindi or English is still among the main five.
- Internal assessment for everyone: Health and Physical Education with Work Experience, and General Studies.
Your school decides which combinations it actually offers, so check with the school first. Mixing streams is fine with us, as long as the board allows it; subjects taken across streams are taught one-to-one only.

A Class 11 class
- 55-minute live classes, between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM Gulf Standard Time (GST).
- Every class ends with a live check. The last eight minutes tell the teacher whether the lesson landed.
- You can see it working: live assessment scores, chapter-level reporting and attendance alerts after two missed classes. You can join any class, unannounced.

Groups of three are always the same grade and curriculum. English is included in the stream bundle when it is one of your child’s school subjects. Siblings: the sibling reduction, a flat 10% reduction on tuition for three months, can be combined with a stream bundle. No registration fee and no annual lock-in. Fees are paid monthly, in advance, by bank transfer or card, with fourteen days’ notice to pause or stop. The AED 450 a month Regular Online Tuitions price (excl. 5% VAT) is for Grades 3 to 10. Which Class 11 streams and subjects do you cover?

Who sets the Class 11 final exam, the school or CBSE?
Your child’s school. Class 11 is not a board year. CBSE’s Senior Secondary scheme for 2026-27 says Class 11 assessment is similar to the Class 12 Board examination but is carried out at school level, so the school sets and marks it.
What grading scale does CBSE use for Class 11?
With absolute grading on marks: 91 to 100 is A1, 81 to 90 A2, 71 to 80 B1, 61 to 70 B2, 51 to 60 C1, 41 to 50 C2 and 33 to 40 D. A mark of 32 or below is Essential Repeat. Class 12 board grades are positional instead, based on rank among the students who pass.
What is the minimum number of subjects in CBSE Class 11?

Can a Class 11 Science student also take Accountancy?
Yes, where the board and the school allow it. CBSE lets students choose electives from one list, so combinations such as Mathematics with Accountancy are allowed, but a few pairs are not, such as Mathematics with Applied Mathematics. Subjects taken across streams are taught one-to-one only. Your school decides which combinations it offers.
