Who it is for
For the child who is fine everywhere except one subject, and needs it taught properly, not patched. It tends to fit when:
- One subject has a specific gap that a class won’t stop to fix, such as a board-year subject that has fallen behind.
- Your child won’t ask in front of others. Some children never say “I don’t understand” with an audience.
- Your child works at a very different pace, much faster or much slower than any group.
- It is a board year. Specialised Subjects is ideal for board-year Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Accounts.

What your child gets
- Any subject of your choice, in any grade from 3 to 12, for CBSE or ICSE. We do not mix boards in one class.
- A subject specialist, matched to the board. Maths has separate teachers for Grades 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12. From Grade 9, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are taught by separate specialists. Board-year batches are taken by board-experienced staff only. Meet our teachers.
- Pace set by your child, not by a syllabus calendar. We follow the calendar your child’s school follows.
- The same teacher all year. One named teacher per subject, per year, and a change on request at any point, at no cost.
- Three classes a week, live, cameras on both sides. Classes run on either Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM Gulf Standard Time (GST), in sessions of 55 minutes.
- Switch format if you need to. You can move between one-to-one and group tuition mid-term, in either direction.

A group of three is made up of children in the same grade, following the same curriculum.
For one subject, one-to-one costs AED 100 a month more than a group of three, excl. 5% VAT. The Education Endowment Foundation’s Teaching and Learning Toolkit finds both formats effective, and studies comparing them directly show mixed results. It defines small-group tuition as one teacher with two to five pupils, so our groups of three sit inside it.
Our view: one-to-one is often worth the extra money for one specific gap, a child who freezes in front of others, or a very different pace. If you’re not sure, start in a group of three and watch. One-to-one safeguards. A one-to-one class runs without a parent present only after a parent has given consent, once, by replying to the enrolment email. A parent can join any class, at any time, without notice. Teachers may not contact students privately by phone, message, email or social media. Read our child protection policy.

For a child who needs support across the board, the core plan covers five subjects for less than one subject one-to-one. Products can be combined. Regular Online Tuitions teaches each core subject in one live class a week, so if your child needs more time in one subject, add Specialised Subjects in that subject for three classes a week, and ask us for a combined monthly figure.

Will my child keep the same teacher all year?
Yes. Your child keeps their subject teacher for the full academic year unless you ask us to change. If you do, we change at any point, at no cost.
