The syllabus has to fit five subjects into five days. It was never going to have room for how a rocket actually gets to orbit, or what a real artificial intelligence model is doing when it answers a question. That isn’t a school failing. It’s just what a syllabus is.

Orbit is where that goes instead: two live, small-group tracks, Space & the Solar System and AI Literacy, taught on Saturdays and Sundays for children already learning something else the other five days.

Questions parents actually ask

Is this instead of the core Progmetics programme?

No. Orbit is a separate, paid add-on that runs on Saturdays or Sundays. It does not replace any weekday subject, and your child does not need to be enrolled in Regular Online Tuitions to join. New families are welcome directly into Orbit.

What age or grade should my child start at?

Each track has three levels, grouped the same way as our core grades: Level 1 for Grades 3–5, Level 2 for Grades 6–8, and Level 3 for Grades 9–12. Not sure which fits? Book a free demo and the instructor will tell you directly.

Do we have to pick one track forever?

No. A term is 10 weeks. Many families do one track one term and switch the next, or run both tracks in parallel on separate weekend days.

Is there a free demo, and do you need payment details for it?

Yes, and no. Book a free demo class the same way you would for any Progmetics subject. No card details are taken to book it.

Does my child get anything to show for it?

A certificate at the end of every completed level, and from Level 3 onward, a small project or presentation your child can keep. Useful later for school portfolios or college applications.

How is this different from the AI and coding already inside CBSE?

CBSE’s own computational-thinking and AI modules in Classes 9 and 10 are compulsory, exam-linked, and taught as part of Regular Online Tuitions at no extra cost. Orbit’s AI Literacy track is separate: no exam, no grade, open to any grade band from 3 to 12, and built to go deeper into how AI actually works rather than what the syllabus requires.
